In the Babies! exhibit area inside Pacific Visions on the second floor, visit the new Jelly Lab to learn how we grow baby jellies and see them at their different life cycle stages. Learn how different ocean habitats like coral reefs, mangroves, and seagrass beds serve as nurseries and see baby animals that live in these environments. Plus, meet our new baby sea otters in the Northern Pacific Gallery and learn how the Aquarium will help orphaned sea otter pups in our Sea Otter Surrogacy facility at the Molina Animal Care Center.

Our new exhibit also highlights the Aquarium’s most notable animal births over the years as well as our amazing firsts. The Aquarium of the Pacific was the first in the world to successfully breed weedy seadragons and pharaoh’s cuttlefish, the first public aquarium to hatch and raise a juvenile giant sea bass, and the first to reproduce Beroe comb jellies. Experience these and other incredible stories of baby animals at the Aquarium this summer.
